He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Bowers and Wanda Bowers of Delta; and his siblings, Donnie Bowers of Delta, Kevin Bowers of Lafayette, Kendall Bowers of Cape Girardeau, Mark Bowers of Scott City and Lisa Bowers of Delta.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bowers; and his children, Casey Bowers (Courtney) of Advance, Trey Chandler of Branson, Jenny Scroggins of Seal Beach, Natalie Scroggins of Cape Girardeau, Sunny Scroggins of Jonesboro and Bridgette Scroggins of Kelso. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
