She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ballew and Lola Ballew (Kemp); her daughters, Linda Kaye and Brenda Faye McManus; and her siblings, Earl, Herschel, Howard, Henry, James, Bill Ballew and Ruby Schmidt.
She is survived by: her husband Bob McManus of Delta; her children, Penny Lipe of Delta and Robert McManus (Michelle) of St. Louis; her grandchildren, Mollie Fields, Zoe Lipe, Jeff McManus (Allison), Paul McManus (Alexandria), Scott McManus (Olivia) and Sidney McManus (Ashlyn); her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Gass of Cape Girardeau and Ella Dee Jinks (Claude) of Houston, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Penelope, Payten, Wyatt, Heidi, Lincoln, Rhett, Lane and Lyla.
In lieu of flowers, and at Retha's request, memorials may take the form of contributions to First Baptist Church in Delta for "Operation Christmas Child".
