She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethelyn Murphy and Thomas K. Murphy; her husband John Thomas Smith; her son Dana; and her sisters, Betty Best and Janice Ford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Renee Parkhurst (Larry) of St. Joseph and Danette Hanson (John) of Gulliver, MI; her friends, Helen Hall and Betty Belle Henkowski; and her pet Precious. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials are requested to the DeKalb Christian Church or Tradition's Hospice.
