She was predeceased by: her husband William Dennis; her parents, Euletta June and Marcus James McMakin, Sr.; and her brother Marcus "Buddy" James McMakin, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Stacy Curia (Brian) and Dr. William Dennis (Amy); her granddaughter Marie Curia; her sisters, Mary Jane Pittman and Sharon Lee (Leonard); and her sister-in-law Patti DeCandt-McMakin.
