He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Carpenter and Geraldine Carpenter; his spouse Kena; his children, Shawn, Jay, Lacey (Tim), Raymond, Ryan, Poppy, Gunner, Allison and Daniel; and his siblings, Pamela, Jacqueline, Carol, Linda and George.
