He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Colbert and Elza Colbert (Royster); his former wife Norma Colbert; his sons, Shawn and Gordie Colbert; his grandson Michael Colbert, Jr.; and his siblings, William "Gene" Colbert, Bernice McManus, Muriel Grote, Louise Mudd and Everett Colbert.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Colbert of Defiance, MO; his daughter-in-law Becky Colbert; his sons, Lance, Austin (Nicole) and Mike Colbert (Elizabeth) of Wright City, MO; his grandchildren, Joey, Annabeth, Evangelene and Wes Colbert (Kelly) of Wright City, MO; his great grandchildren, Kayla and Carson; his sister Lois Schneider of New Hartford, MO; his stepson David Keller (Mary) of Florissant, MO; his stepgrandchildren, Danielle (Cameron) and Brandon (Melissa); his stepdaughter Cheryl Morrison of Wright City, MO; his stepgranddaughter Kathleen Barnes (Billy); his stepdaughter Kerry Earl (Philip) of Wright City, MO; his stepgrandchildren, Kaylee Schnieders, Carly McGillivray (Dan), Patrick Earl (Jazmyn) and Teresa Jones (Dave) of Bellflower, MO; and also, Maelah, Bruce, Everest, Justin Reese (Dana) and Reese. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
