We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2024, at the age of 87, George M. Gales of Defiance, Missouri, born in Sheridan, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Dee Gales; and his parents, George Gales and Hattie Gales (Dee Gales). He is survived by : his daughters, Karen Gales of Houston, TX, Patricia Wolf (Joe) of St. Charles, MO, Teresa Brown (Gary) of Mackinaw, IL and Susan Cox (Steve) of Lee Summit, MO; and his grandchildren, Rudy, Clara, Kim, Kelly, Danielle, Andrew and Jonathan. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (8 Hwy D, New Melle, MO 63365). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 12th 2024 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery (8 Hwy D, New Melle, MO 63365).
