He is survived by: his sister Kitty Shrum (Brad) of Overland Park, KS; and his nephews, Cody Shrum (Jen) of Olathe, KS and Brian Shrum (Brooklyn) of Overland Park, KS. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
