He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wagers and Georgia Wagers; his son Bob; his former wife Marion Lehnen of Wellsville, MO; his son Robert Lee Wagers, Jr. (Bobby); his wife Joyce Wagers; and his children, Eric Lee Wagers, Walker Clark Wagers, Michael Hayden Wagers and Hollie DeAnne Wagers.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Etienne, Lucien, Johnny, Lilli, MacKenzie, Jaxson, Ryatt, Saylor and Quinlee Wagers; his stepgrandchildren, Hailee Harrelson and Ricky Ames; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Raelyn Wagers, Duke and Sage Harrelson; and his sister Peggy Bloss.
