With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William J. O'Brien (De Soto, Missouri), who passed away on January 11, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur James and Susan Ellen O'Brien; his wife Marie O'Brien; his children, Terry Hayes and Gary O'Brien; and his siblings, Loretta Hardt, Bernice Markham, Ed O'Brien, Arthur O'Brien, Margaret Keuss and Bernard O'Brien.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Michelle Walker (Karl Jr.) of De Soto, MO, John Hayes (Karen) and Ste; his great grandchildren, Dustin Walker (Shannon), Derek Walker (Becca Allen) and Megan Walker; his grandchildren, Hunter Hayes, Kylie Hayes, Erica Fink and Emily Fink; and his great great grandchildren, Ava and Mae.
