He was predeceased by: his wife Rachel Guemmer; his grandparents, Mel Guemmer, Charles and Willyne Thompson; and his half-brother Shane Avery.
He is survived by: his parents, David Guemmer and Deborah Guemmer; his children, Taylor Krupp (Cameron) and Charles Guemmer; his grandchildren, Kai and Koen Krupp; his brothers, Mitch Guemmer (Kristen), Webster Groves and Matt Guemmer; and his half-siblings, Bridget Avery of Boaz, KY and Jason Avery of Mayfield, KY..
