As Rockne departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Rockne. Though Rockne may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Eugene and Merriell JoAnne Barnett (McWilliams). He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth Ann Barnett; his daughters, Tara Barnett (Daniel Anderson) and Tessica Reigstad (Ryan) of Madison, WI; his grandchildren, Kaylee Anderson, Walker Reigstad and Emilia Reigstad; and his siblings, Connie Sherman-Ward (Doug) of Iowa City, IA, Tracey Sherman-Falcon (Gandi) of Aurora, IL, Angie Sovich (Doug) of Atlantic Beach, FL, Jennifer Budny (Brian) of Lombard, IL, Scott Barnett of Bloomington, IL and Debbie Barnett-Moore of Heyworth, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
