She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver "Spot" Oker and Golda Oker; her husbands, Sam Sloan and Vernon Hardin; and her siblings, Betty Young, Janet Pinson and George Oker.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Sloan (Carolyn) of De Soto, David Sloan (Rachell) of South County and Mark Sloan of De Soto; her brother Robert Oker of St. Louis; her grandchildren, Chad Sloan (Karen Mooney), Jamie Sloan (Dewayne Smith), Derrick Sloan, Phillip Sloan (Sonja), Samantha Sloan and Sarah Taylor (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Zachary Sloan, Logan Yancey (Lyssa), Nate Sloan, Jackson Taylor, Iris Taylor, Emma Taylor and Rose Taylor.
As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the De Soto Food Pantry or the Trinity Episcopal Church.
