He is survived by: his wife Jenny Tumbas (Brandt); his children, Michael Tumbas (Jennifer), Mark Tumbas, Angela Tumbas and Melissa Dooley; and his siblings, Dale Tumbas, Kim McKenna and Pam Burnett. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
