She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert Scharnhorst and Lucille Scharnhorst; and her brothers, Norbert Scharnhorst (Sandra) and Michael Scharnhorst. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer "Beth" Goode (James "Jim"); her grandsons, Nickolas Paul, Jacob Goode (Shelby) and Avery Goode; her great grandchildren, David, Xavier and Wyatt; her siblings, Suzanne Bryan (late William) and Dwight Scharnhorst (Rea); and also Tara Smith.
