She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Farris and Muriel Cook; her stepfather Harold Cook; and her son James M. Johnson. She is survived by: her son Richard B Johnston of Kennett, MO; her stepson Laddie Owens of Dyersburg, TN; and her grandchildren, Jimmy Johnston (Nikea) of Abilene, TX, Michelle Ellis (David) of Desoto, MO, Jamie Womack of Abilene, TX, Mara Johnston of Kennett, MO and Richard Johnston (Dakota). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
