He was predeceased by: his father Edward Brooks; his stepparents, Joan Brooks and George Rawson; his son Dustin Brooks; his granddaughter Gracie; and his sister Rochelle Ashe.
He is survived by: his mother Shirley Brooks; his children, Jessica Brooks, Bonne Terre, Ashley Brooks, Jackson and Steven Brooks (Kenzi); his close friend Dawn Hackworth; his grandchildren, Cadence, Hayden, Rain, Kayleigh, Hagen, Jaxson, Alana, Eli, Jace, Jake, Maeve, Bellamy and Auden; and his siblings, Lee Sexton (Kenny), April Kettler (Craig) and Raymond Brooks (Dee Dee).
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home (220 N Main St, De Soto, MO 63020). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Dietrich-Mothershead Chapel (220 N Main St, De Soto, MO 63020).
