He was predeceased by: his siblings, Katherine "Kay" Mayberry, David Capehart and Dick Capehart. He is survived by: his wife Laura Capehart; his children, Richard Capehart (Linda), Steven Capehart (Debbie), Sandy Kennedy (Ed), Lisa Semar (Rudy) and Gary Capehart (Michelle); his stepdaughters, Mandy Kenum (James), De Soro, Patty Small (Steve) and Sherry Clark (Kit); and his nephew Dennis Mayberry (Linda). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
