He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Junior Cotner and Shirley Cotner; his wife Edna Cotner of De Soto, MO; his children, Jason Cotner (Megan), Adam Cotner (Megan), Ste, Ronnie Martin (Rebekah) of Valley Park, MO, Steven Martin (Sarah) of Belleville, IL, Ashley Scrivner (Mitchell) of Hillsboro, MO, Shirley Schroeder (Mike) and Crystal Murphy (Michael); his siblings, Tim Cotner (Jim) and Cindy Young (John) of Independence, MO; his grandchildren, Aubrey Cotner, Karleigh Cotner, Brock Cotner, Lucas Cotner, Piper Cotner, Alyssa Schroeder, Dalton Cotner, Dylan Martin, Olivia Scrivner, Jackson Martin, Evelynn Scrivner, Charlotte Martin and Lucas Murphy; and his son Joshua Cotner.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home (220 N Main St, De Soto, MO 63020). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
