He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. "Bob" and Anna Oneta Schlake; and his nephew Clint Felton. He is survived by: his sisters, Sharon Gillam (Don) and Deborah Merseal; his nieces, Lisa Peters (Zach), Holly Elterman (James) and Jennifer Gillam (Josh Horton); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lorelai, Kanen, Mason, Markcus, Gavin, Gracie, Alex, Max and Andrew.
