He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Skaggs and Macie Skaggs; his siblings, LaDon Webster and Charles Skaggs; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Honerkamp and Sam Webster.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Virginia "Ginny" Skaggs; his children, Dina Miller (Marshall) and Todd Skaggs (Julie); his grandchildren, Grant Miller, Luke Skaggs (Tristian) and Morgan Skaggs; his great grandchildren, Ryleigh Skaggs and Reece Skaggs; his siblings, Ann Honerkamp and Rick Skaggs (Gale) of Oxford, GA; and his sister-in-law Janet Skaggs.
