He was predeceased by: his father Benjamin Franklin; and his siblings, Harold Ottomeyer and Hazel Johnston. He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Freise (Mark) and Cheryl Evans (Bill); his grandchildren, William Joseph, Robert, Lisa and Krystale Evans; and his brother J. D. Ottomeyer (David).
