It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald R. McCurdy (De Soto, Missouri), who passed away on August 23, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mothers, Verna "Ray" and Mary Isabelle McCurdy; and his siblings, Fern Pigg and Doug McCurdy. He is survived by: his wife Joan McCurdy of De Soto, MO; his children, Karen Marie McCurdy of Statesboro, GA and Karl Ray McCurdy of Bowling Green, MO; his children-in-law, Cherie McCurdy and Ron Wright; his siblings, Bev Ringling (David) of De Soto, MO and Tom McCurdy (Ann) of Florissant, MO; his brother-in-law Cleo Pigg of De Soto, MO; his grandchildren, Gennevieve Wright and Douglas McCurdy (Amy); and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Adalyn and Carter. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
