He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Sr. and George William Pope, Sr.; and his brother George W. "Ben" Pope, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Pope; his children, Kim Queen (Chad) of De Soto and Michael Pope (Deana) of De Soto; and his grandchildren, Jake Queen, Jordan Queen, Sarah Queen, Masey Pope and Abby Pope.
