She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Hampton and Luella Hampton; her husband John William "Bill" Rasmussen; her son Jon Rasmussen; and her siblings, Maurine Lassen, Eugene Hampton and Kay Kinkead.

She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Copeland (Robert) of Plano, TX, Donna Kay Rasmussen (Marsha Poehling) of Edwardsville, IL and Kathy Calcara (Michael) of Shawnee, KS; her grandchildren, Andrew Copeland (Jacob Westbrook), Kate Pierce (Brad), Heather Morgan (Martin), Will Rasmussen (Becca), Alan Rasmussen (Stephanie), Emily Calcara and Kat Calcara; her great grandchild Nora Mae Pierce; and her brother Jerry Hampton of Cedar Rapids, IA..
