He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolphin Taylor Sr. and Bessie Pearl Schrum; his daughter Dawn Schrum Vinyard; and his siblings, Carol Greenwell, Dolphin "Joe" and Paul Schrum.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Schrum of De Soto, MO; his children, Donna Tucker (Todd) of De Soto, MO and Randall Schrum (Michelle); and his siblings, Viola Huff (late Carl, Sr.) of Farmington, MO, Eileen Robbins (Tim) of Gillespie, IL, Gwen Hutton (late Tom) of De Soto, MO, Ron Schrum, Sr. (late Mary Lou) of De Soto, MO and Robert Schrum (Juanita) of De Soto, MO.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
