He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Virginia, Jerry Detter, Melvin and Alline Shomaker; his uncle Randy Gaston; his brother Holden Detter; and his brother-in-law Gary James.
He is survived by: his parent Mable Detter of De Soto, MO; his siblings, Jacob M. Detter of De Soto, MO, Taylor M. James of De Soto, MO and Kolbie D. Emily of De Soto, MO; his nieces and nephews, Heaven Lee Hope Shomaker, Melayla Raylynn May Shomaker, Luke Arthur Gaston, Jase Ayden James, Baylee, Drew Poe and Derrick Emily; and his close friends, Heather Whitby, David Eads, Zac Smith, Shane Nash, Cody, Cory Coleman, Roluu, Aron, Caleb Crowell, Dante Watters and Mitcheal Fisk.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home (220 N Main St, De Soto, MO 63020). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
