He is survived by: his wife Norma Prater; his children, Joseph Copeland of Viburnum, MO, Ron Copeland (Chris) of Bixby, MO, Kathy Dixon (Leroy) of Bixby, MO and Charlotte Roach (Keith) of Fredericktown, MO; his siblings, Cecil Prater (Betty) of Bonne Terre, MO, Ruby Warren of Fenton, MO, Virgel Prater of Bonne Terre, MO and Ruthie Smith (Jim) of St. Louis, MO; and his grandchildren, Ashley Dennison, Zach Copeland, Nick Copeland, Rachel Parks, Jessica Copeland, Jenny Copeland, Wendy Hadley, Edward L. Dixon, Thomas Roach and Mitchell Roach. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.
