With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence J. Gilbert (Dardenne Prairie, Missouri), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Opal Michael. He is survived by: his wife Angela L. Gilbert; his daughters, Carol Sue Wert (David) and Anne Elizabeth Haluszczak (Paul); his grandchildren, Beth Anne Hoad (Denis), Brice Wert (Stacey Cook), Brant Wert (Abigail Andrew), Brittany Benson (Darren), Kristin Dement, Shannon Polk (William), Paul Haluszczak (Morgan Wootten), Andrew, Henry, Rozlynn, David, Margot, Alfred, Charles and Addison; his sister Eleanor Henry; and his close friends, Bob and Christy Hagar.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dardenne Presbyterian Church (7400 South Outer 364, Dardenne Prairie, MO 63368). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations in Lawrence's name may be made to BJC Hospice or to the Salvation Army.
