He is survived by: his wife Sandy Hoelscher Rau; his children, Gregory Rau (Alicia) and Sarah Beckmann (Gerald); his grandchildren, Evan Rau, Leah Rau, Liliana Beckmann, Connor Rau, Dylan Rau, Wynn Beckmann, Annalee Beckmann and Wyatt Beckmann; and his siblings, Karen Rau Rosenthal and Richard Rau (Jeanne Kennedy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
