He is survived by: his parents, Mark Roekel and Rebecca Van Roekel of Dardenne Prairie; his brother Carter; his grandparents, Mike, Nancy Harre, Gary and Becky Slagle; and his aunts and uncles, Chad (Kathleen Van Roekel), Travis Harre, Tyler (Hannah Pippen), Andy (Krystal Kelly), Matt (Claire Warren), Mitch (Sarah Kelly), Lee (Erin Holloman), Richie (Anna Slagle) and Alex Slagle.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rivers Church (88 Hubble, Dardenne Prairie, MO 63368).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hudson Van Roekel Memorial Trust Fund or directly to any of the charities listed below. All proceeds from the Memorial Fund will support local organizations that had a profound impact on Hudson and our family, helping to create meaningful experiences for other children like him in the future.
