It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Gourley Meyer of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Hamlett and Gayle Hamlett (Sellers); and her husband John H. Meyer. She is survived by: her children, Terry Gourley (Laurie) of Simi Valley, California, Todd Gourley (Sherilyn) of Fort Collins, Colorado, Jennifer Gourley (Brad) of Hermann, Missouri, Jeff Meyer (Jennifer) of Virginia, Julie Meyer of Holts Summit, Missouri, Michelle Wilson (Dave) of Holts Summit, Missouri and Marc Meyer (Rhonda) of Overland Park, Kansas; and her sisters, Cathy Cooper of Columbia, Missouri and Debbie Alexander of Mexico, Missouri. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home (1221 Washington St, Hermann, MO 65041). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Alzheimer's Association.
