He was predeceased by : his parents, Sylvester Gittemeier and Viola Gittemeier; his wife Patricia Gittemeier (Schappe); his daughter Laurie Oehler; his brothers, James Gittemeier, Eugene Gittemeier, William Gittemeier and Richard Gittemeier; and his son-in-law Todd Lockhart. He is survived by : his children, Gary Gittemeier (Teresa) of Leheigh Acres, FL, Glenn Gittemeier (Jamie) of Wentzville and Tammy Alexander (Rich) of Wentzville; his siblings, Leonard Gittemeier (Kate), Edward Gittemeier (Gayle) of St. Charles, Dennis Gittemeier (Bonnie) of St. Charles, Joan Lammers of St. Charles, Margie Kolb of Wentzville and Carol Ann Fritzsche (Tom) of Hazelwood; his son-in-law Jack Oehler.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
