James Wayne Newsom Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Wayne Newsom of Dalton, Missouri, born in Boonville, Missouri, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Newsom and Dorothy Newsom (Oetting); and his wife Beverly Seals. He is survived by: his niece Diane Myers; his children, Angela Kussman (John) of Kansas City, MO and Bryan Newsom (Stacee) of Oak Grove, MO; his grandchildren, Hunter Newsom, Mallory Kussman, Ben Kussman, Carson Newsom and Colby Newsom; his sister Joyce Wetzel of Kansas City, MO.; and his friends, Lowell Newsom, Steve Harmon and Sam Johnson III. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to Brunswick American Legion Post #7, Elliott Grove Cemetery, or Dalton Cemetery.
