He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cornelius and Ethel Freeman Cornelius; and his siblings, Barbara J. Price, Christopher J. Cornelius, Laddie D. Cornelius and David A. Cornelius.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Cornelius of Cuba, MO; his daughters, Dionne K. Patrick Haskell (Jon) of Steelville, MO and Katie S. Patrick Robertson (Shawn) of Daniel, WY; and his siblings, Martha B. Sills of Fulton, MO, Ethel J. Piskulic of O'Fallon, MO, Leroy S. Cornelius of Louisville, KY and Renick L. Cornelius of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; other relatives; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Power of Hope Equestrian Center, 3 Farmhouse Lane, Steelville, MO 65565.
