He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth Blount; his wife Elizabeth "Speedy" Rutz; his daughter Mary Beth (Scott Abolt) of Cuba, Missouri; his granddaughters, Abigail "Abby" (Garrett Wishon) of Steelville and Faith Rutz of Norfolk, Virginia; his sister-in-law Mary Clay of Cuba, Missouri; and his cousins, Warren Rutz of Granburg and Fern Kramme of Owensville, Missouri. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
