She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Mary Askins (Johnson); her husband Edgar E. Watson; her daughter Nancy Sue Watson; her sisters, Donna Avery and Barbara Copeland; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Schmidt and Sue McCune.
She is survived by: her children, John (Virginia Watson) of Steelville, Lee (Theresa Watson) of Cuba and Lynda (Jon Henderson) of Ballwin; her grandchildren, Lauren (Drew Biondo) of Frontenac, Kelsey Henderson of St. Louis, Kathryn "Katy" Watson of Springfield and Amber (Errin Henry) of Baldwin; and her great grandchildren, Collin, Hunter Henry, Grey and Lyla Biondo. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
