It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lesa M. Mizell of Cuba, Missouri, born in Rolla, Missouri, who passed away on June 14, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Elmer Jean McCarter; her grandparents, Elmer, Gladys McCarter and Della Mae "Gran" Baum; and her father-in-law Dickey R. Mizell.
She is survived by: her husband C. Don Mizell of Cuba, Missouri; her daughters, Kayla Baum of Cuba, Amanda (Drew Townsend) of Brownsburg and Jaime (Michael Simms) of O'Fallon, Missouri; her grandchildren, Everlee, Easton and Owen; her mother Miriam McCarter (Cook) of Salem, Missouri; her brothers, Sonny (Susie McCarter) of Franklin, Scott (Leigh McCarter) of Bentonville, Shawn (Lori McCarter) of Springfield and Justen (Lesley McCarter) of Collins, Missouri; her stepmother Donna McCarter of Collins, Missouri; her mother-in-law Sue Mizell of Granite City, Illinois; her brothers-in-law, Tim Mizell of Granite City and Jason (Jessica Mizell) of St. Louis, Missouri; and her pets, Miles, Khloe, Leonardo and Isabella. She is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, great-nephews, colleagues and many friends.
