He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie McGinnis and Callie McGinnis (Crawford); his wife Ovia Marie McGinnis; his sons, Jack McGinnis and Kimmie "Mac" McGinnis; and his siblings, Helen Smith, Rebecca Estes of Jack, Billie Hightower, Bobby McGinnis and Ronnie McGinnis.
He is survived by: his children, Pat Bell (Bob) of Cuba, Don McGinnis (Tina) of Cuba, Renee Bowen (Ed) of Cuba and Michele Harmon (Kevin) of Salem; and his daughters-in-law, Diana McGinnis of Springfield and Edna McGinnis of Cuba. He is also survived by his eighteen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many dear friends.
