He is survived by: his children, Tammy (Ray Massey, Scott) of Cuba, Tim Pilkenton (Betty Post, Rick) of Cuba, Amy Pilkenton of Cuba, Samuel (Christine Mahaney) of O'Fallon, Andy Mahaney of Titusville, John (Shari Staples) of St. James, Jeff (Gale Staples) of Cuba and Jerry Staples of Lake St; his grandchildren, Tony McClain, Shadia Massey, Amber, Jeremy, Josh (Jenny Pilkenton, Maddie), Tiffany Doney, Katy (Tito Soto, Hannah), Summer, Morgan, Harley Pilkenton, Evey, Abby, Chase Dickhoener, Jessica Leeper, Samuel (Megan Mahaney, Jr.), Abigail, Sophie, Lily Mahaney, Jill (Nick Hayes, Shannon), Chris Staples and Kim (Jacob Johnston, Adam); his great grandchildren, Devonte, Cordasia, Autiana, Aven Lily, Aubrey, Emerson, Ben, Titus, Millie, Brooklynn, Letty, Shaelynn, Penelope and Riley; his great great grandchild Isabella; and his sister Betty Piezuch of Japan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
