It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth F. Nelson of Cuba, Missouri, born in Licking, Missouri, who passed away on July 6, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bailey Nelson and Elsie Marie Nelson; his wife Martha L. Nelson; his parents-in-law, Sherman and Dorothy Licklider; his sons, Kenny F. Nelson, Jr. and Eric Steward; his son-in-law Billy Joe Griggs; his siblings, Bill Nelson, Kathy Steelman, Marvin Nelson, Alma McDonald (Hobert) and Louise Nelson; his brothers-in-law, Robert Knueven and Jerry Licklider; and his nieces, Patricia Licklider and Becky Sohn.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Griggs of Anniston, MO and Mark McCallister (Laura Gillam) of Steelville, MO; his sister Fern Knueven of Salem, MO; his siblings-in-law, Kathy Ahlheim (Ken) of Sullivan, MO, Joyce Sohn (Ron) of Union, MO and Ronnie Steelman of Salem, MO; and his grandchildren, Josh Nelson, Chris Rice, Kyle Nelson, Ryan Rice, Kasey Nelson and Dylan Rice. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
