She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Eugene and Sharon J. Mahurin (Webster); and her sister Lora Jean Collins. She is survived by: her son James Lawrence Mendoza of Cuba; her sister Karen (Bill Parkins) of Cuba; and her brother-in-law James Collins of Kentucky. She is also survived by aunt, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Autism Awareness.
