Dickens of Cuba, Missouri, born in Saint James, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 27, 2024 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Dickens (Reagan) and Garrett "G. C." Dickens; his wife Sharon Dickens (Faulkner); his son James D. Dickens, Jr.; and his siblings, Carl (Shirley Dickens), Louie Dickens, Ruby (Floyd Williams), Helen (Cecil Brown), Mable (Edwin), Lucille Campbell and Ruth Ann Dickens.
He is survived by: his daughter Christie (Steve McKenna) of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Daniel (Heather Williams) of Cuba, Lance (Abby Williams) of Cuba and Jenna McKenna of Hillsboro; his great grandchildren, Brendon, Kye, River, Paulie, Allie and Benny; his brothers, Paul (Geraldine Dickens) of Cuba and Leon (Donna Dickens) of Cuba; his brother-in-law Gary Campbell of Cuba; and his close friend Doris Monda of Cuba.
