He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Ottermann and Gladys Ottermann (Myers); his wife Lois Jean Ottermann (Volner); his son Mark Ottermann; and his siblings, Kenneth, Sonny Ottermann and Lillian Hedrick.
He is survived by: his sons, Matthew (Diane Ottermann) of Washington and Nathan (Cindy Ottermann) of Cuba; his grandchildren, Josh, Justin, Ryan, Jeremy, Nicole, Jessica and Emily; and his sister Delores "Dee" Foster of St. Louis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
