He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Schmidt and Isabell Schmidt (Bryant); and his siblings, Josephine Wheeler, Lorraine Bridges, Alvie Callahan, Ray Schmidt, Clyde, Paul, Howard and Roman Conaway.
He is survived by: his sisters, Corrine Tindall of Cuba, Margie Cook of St. Louis and Ann (Jim Davis) of Antonia; and his brother-in-law Robert Bridges of Villa Ridge. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
