He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Copling and Rose Copling; his son Daniel "Danny" Copling; his siblings, Vernon Copling, Otis Copling, Ben Copling, Leroy Copling, Hazel Hayes, Ida Carkuff, Violet Blackmon, Bernice Hayes, Vivian Protte, Arti Eddleman and Arlie Kuhlman; and his former wife Bessie Copling.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Copling (Higgins) of Cuba; his grandchildren, Macey and Nate Paul of Washington; and his pet Brownie. He is also survived by numerous nieces; nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; many other relatives and certainly many friends.
