He was predeceased by: his parents, Neldon Sommerville and Lillian Sommerville; his son Eric Sommerville; and his siblings, Judith Rae Sommerville and Neldon "Don" Sommerville Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Jelly (Lumahang) of Cuba; his sons, Cody Sommerville of Utah, Troy Sommerville (Cyd) of Utah, Shane Sommerville (Teresa) of South Carolina and Brock Sommerville of Utah; and his grandchildren, Jylinn, Stevin, Stephanie, Jordan Sommerville, Chantel Queris and Ashley Bello. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
