He was predeceased by: his son David B. McGrath; and his siblings, Denny McGrath, Susie Wieland and Nora Schrock. He is survived by: his wife Nellie M. McGrath; his children, Tim McGrath (Cathy) of Michigan, Chris McGrath (Amy) of Michigan, Mollie Swafford (Mike) of Texas, Bert Thurston (Sharon) of Virginia and Ken Thurston of Michigan; his siblings, Jim McGrath of Washington and Mary Eagle of Michigan; his daughter-in-law Gwendolyn McGrath; and his grandchildren, Erin Heitzenrater (Adam), Mackenzie Rittenberg (Bart), Keenan McGrath (Dana), Kaitlin, Kelli, Patrick, Dustin McGrath, Andrew, Wilson Fields, Nichole Barringer (Chuck), Mandy Thurston, Kara Thurston and Rafael Thurston. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
