He was predeceased by: his parents, Bazil E. Davis and Ethel M. Taylor Davis; his wife Marita Koch Davis; and his brothers, David and Keith Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Schmitt (George) of Festus, MO, Gary E. Davis (Cindy) of DeSoto, MO and Christine Carlson (Gary) of Bixby, OK; his siblings, Chris Davis (Janet) of Fenton, MO, Mark Davis of Festus, Janet Smith of Festus, MO and Judy Davis of St. Louis, MO; and his grandchildren, Connor, Garrett Schmitt and Mia Carlson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
