He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Caldera and Counsuelo Alvarez; his siblings, Leo Lopez, Theresa Laborico, Socorro (Lopez), Bertha Escamilla and Rosemary; and his nephews, Zefe Laborico III, Manuel Hernandez, Juan Hernandez and George Hernandez.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Caldera (Eiskant) of Cuba; his sons, Carlos Caldera (Riane Patterson) of Lees Summit and Daniel Caldera (Katie) of Affton; his grandchildren, Milo Caldera, Morgan Caldera, Joel Caldera and Margo Caldera; his brother-in-law Zefe Laborico II of Oklahoma; and his nephews, Ernie, Henry, Bobby, David and Robby. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
